Getting a file ready for laser cutting is easier than you might think. With just a couple of simple steps, your design will be ready to go and the laser can do its job with clean, accurate results.
Laser cutting is available as an add-on to our fabric printing service. Once your design has been printed, we can cut it to shape with precision, saving you time in the workroom and giving you a clean, professional finish straight from production. It’s a simple way to streamline your project from start to finish.
Cut Line Requirements
A black outline (stroke) of 1.5mm–2mm thickness should be applied to the outside edge of every shape or pattern intended for cutting.
The laser cutter reads this outline as the cut path.
Any element without this defined outline will not be cut.
Notches and Nicks
Notches and nicks are not cut by the laser cutter.
If they are required, they must be produced separately by the workroom after the laser cutting process.
Only the designated cut outlines will be recognised by the machine.
